  skos:scopeNote "در باره ارتباط میان حجم و دمای گاز‌هاست. بنابراین قانون، در فشار ثابت، حاصل‌ضرب حجم یك گاز در دمای آن (برحسب كلوین) همواره مقداری ثابت است به طوری كه هر قدر یكی از این دو بیشتر شود، دیگری به همان اندازه كم‌تر می‌شود و بر‌عكس. علت حركت بالون‌های پر از هوای داغ در هوا‌كره به سمت بالا همین قانون شارل است، زیرا بر طبق این قانون، هر چه گاز داغتر شود، حجم آن بیش‌تر و چگالی آن كم‌تر می‌شود، پس به سمت بالا می‌رود. طبق نظریه‌ی جنبش مولکولی گازها، حجم یك گاز، همان فاصله‌ی میان ذره‌های سازند‌ه‌ی گاز است. هر چه دما زیاد شود، انرژی جنبشی ذره‌ها و قدرت تحرك آن‌ها بیشتر می‌شود، بنابراین، از هم بیشتر فاصله می‌گیرند و حجم گاز زیادتر می‌شود. بر‌عكس، هر چه دما كم شود، انرژی جنبشی ذره‌ها و فاصله‌ی آن‌ها از هم كمتر و حجم گاز نیز كمتر می‌شود."@fa ;
