  skos:scopeNote "بمب هیدروژنی یا «بمب گرماهسته‌ای» نام رایج وسایل انفجاری است که در آن‌ها از انرژی آزاد شده در فرایند هم‌جوشی هسته‌ای به دلیل نیاز به حرارت زیاد برای شروع هم‌جوشی، از یک بمب شکافت هسته‌ای به عنوان چاشنی بمب هیدروژنی استفاده می‌شود. اولین بمب هیدروژنی ایالات متحده آمریکا در سال 1952 در ساحل آیوی‌مایک در جزایر مرجانی انیوتاک در اقیانوس آرام انجام شد. بمب توسط یک فروند بمب‌افکن B17 پرتاب شد. شدت تخریب این بمب 700 برابر بیشتر از بمب اتمی هیروشیما بود."@fa ;
